Hello friends!

My name is Marko Cubric, or for those who know me, I go under the Vintage & Morelli name. I've been producing music for over 20 years now, and I've released countless singles and remixes on record labels such as Monstercat, Anjunabeats and Armada to name a few, as well as 3 artist albums release on Monstercat.

A little bit about me

I wanted to take a moment to share a bit of my story with you all. Being an independent musician and artist isn't just about creating melodies or painting canvases; it's a rollercoaster of emotions, challenges, ultimate sacrifice and sheer determination. I grew up in the 90s in Belgrade, Serbia. My mother signed me up for elementary music school, from which I continued to music high school all the way to Music Academy. To be honest, I've never liked going to music school, but I've fallen in love with the craft, so for that, I am truly grateful.  I've always been fascinated with the electronic music from the era, the intersection of modern technology and music, which has shaped my sound, resulting in a deep, yet uplifting style that evokes a range of emotions reminiscent of various stages of my life.

I remember the countless nights spent perfecting my craft, pouring my heart and soul into every lyric, every chord, note, kick and pad. The road to where I am today hasn't been an easy one. It's been filled with setbacks, lots and lots of rejections, moments of self-doubt and feeling lost in a sea of talent. But, every hurdle became a stepping stone, every closed door propelled me to find another way, and every note that didn't quite resonate only fueled my determination to improve.

For the past 12 years, I've been working full-time as an independent artist, which allows me total creative freedom, but along with that freedom comes a unique set of challenges. Being a touring artist as well, the Covid pandemic made touring pretty challenging for many artists. Making professional recordings can get expensive, and in order to create the quality of music that you've come to expect from me, I need a certain amount of capital up front. The purpose of this crowd funding campaign is to raise the funds I need to create what will be my fourth album of original music, along with collaborations with very talented vocalists and producers.

I believe it's the right time to take the next step in my career, and that is launching my own record label and brand: Contrasts.

Why Contrasts? Contrasts, titled after my first single release with Anjunabeats, and one of my most successful singles thus far, and it will be the home of my fourth artist album.
